The first night Simone looked at me twice because she had forgotten her line. I was able to mouth a cue to her, she picked up the line and no one else knew she had missed a beat! On Friday night they did not falter. They had the most lines of all. Bekah Flaming who played Miss Dove at MBA in 1993 reminded me that she and Molly had a 1 minute pause as they tried to remember their lines. The picture of Miss Dove in the hospital is one of my favorites. This is the "Glee Club" singing for her. These little junior high girls sang beautifully. The audience burst into applause both evenings when they finished their song for Miss Dove.
I am relieved the play is over, but proud of the fine teamwork on the part of all actors and crew members. Praise the Lord we on now on Spring break! We head to nationals at BJU next Tuesday, April 8. We will be competing in Reader's Theater, Choric Speaking, and humorous interpretation. I will keep you posted!
